When I first started out this blog at the beginning of the year, something I have been wanting to do for years but only just found the courage to do it, I really wanted to include my middle name Rose into the title.
I kept going over and over the quote from Romeo and Juliet "What's in a name? that which we call a rose, By any other name would smell as sweet;" Im an actor and loves Shakepeare dont sue me!!
I wasnt really getting anywhere with this and anything I came up with I never liked and didnt seem right.
I finally came up with the original name I had for my blog.
A Midnight Model
I thought this name would be good as it would be me showing you my outfits from a night out and I could post at midnight a lot. This became hard to do, I never posted at midnight because I was to tired or showed my outfits that I wore on nights out. (Mainly because I dont have a decent camera right now.)
Anyway I did like this name a lot but it was never really me.
Then today I finally found it. I dont know where it came from, it litrally hit me like lightning.
The Shadow of a Rose
It feels so perfect for me as my middle name is Rose and this blog is only showing bits and peices of my life, so it really showing a Shadow of a Rose. I have the 'The' in the name as to me it sounded better with it, but if people like it without it let me know because if most people prefer it without the 'The' then I will most likely take it out.
So what do you think? I feel like I've worked hard on my blog and I finally made it to what I pictured in my mind years ago. Its soo surreal to have it now. It would be nice if I had actual followers though.
I only have one follower at the moment and that is one of my best friends so I thought that this would be the best time to change.
